
Imogene Green Demunbrun, age 94, passed away at Grayson Manor Nursing and Rehab on Sunday March 23, 2025. She was born on June 1, 1930, to the late Carl and Alvirda Miller Green.
She grew up in Pine Knob, one of 7 children. She worked in the sewing industry for 30 plus years until retirement.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Henry Dee Basham, and Richard Everett Demunbrun; siblings, Charlie Green, Ecklis Green, Ruby Burden, Cuba Duggins, Roxie Burden, and Lovoice Young.
She is survived by a son, Henry Dee Basham (Veronica) of Leitchfield; two daughters, Laquita (Eddie) Clemons, and Vanessa Hatfield; eight grandchildren, Chris Basham, Jason (Kelly) Langley, Jordan (Natalie) Clemons, Justus Clemons, Mahalea Deweese, Brysyn Hatfield, Scott Gibson, and Beth Gibson; eight great-grandchildren, Christina Basham, Marshall Langley, Saylor and Sylvia Clemons, Aurora Kaufman-Gibson, Annabelle Kaufman-Gibson, Destiny Gibson, and Bellamy Waltermire, due in May of 2025; and two great-great-grandchildren, Layla and Eastyn Basham.
Visitation will held at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield on Thursday March 27, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 1:45 p.m., with Funeral Mass to follow at the St. Joseph Catholic Church at 2:00 p.m. Father Sinoj (Paul) Pyndath HGN will be officiating. Burial will follow the service at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
