An Ohio County man has died after a motorcycle crashed head-on into a truck.
The Ohio Co. Sheriff’s Office said deputies, the Fordsville Fire Department and Kentucky State Police responded to the crash on Friday afternoon at approximately 1:20 in the 13000 block of Hwy 1414 near Whitesville.
When first responders arrived at the scene, they found that Nicolas Payne, of Hartford, had been traveling west on Hwy 1414 when he entered the opposite lane of travel and struck an eastbound truck head-on.
Payne was transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro where he was pronounced deceased.
The investigation is ongoing and is being led by the Ohio Co. Sheriff’s Office.
