A man has been arrested for stabbing his wife to death.
Kentucky State Police said troopers were dispatched on Tuesday at 6:40 a.m. to the report of a male suffering from a mental health disorder on Walter Lane in Watts in Breathitt County. As first responders were en route, a caller advised that a male subject had barricaded himself inside the home.
When police arrived at the scene, they found 42-year-old Lance Hyde, of Watts, inside the home. Troopers then located 44-year-old Jessica Campbell-Hyde, also of Watts, deceased from what appeared to be “puncture wounds to the torso area,” according to state police.
The suspect was arrested and charged with murder (domestic violence) and lodged in the Kentucky River Regional Jail.
