A man has been arrested after trapping a female co-worker in a room that sprays 200-degree steam.

The Madisonville Police Department arrested 23-year-old Barrett Korinta, of White Plains, and charged him with first-degree wanton endangerment and first-degree unlawful imprisonment after he locked a factory co-worker in a “rack wash room” that sprays 200-degree steam and chemicals on trays, according to media outlets.

Korinta is then accused of closing and locking the door to the room and turning on the spray machine. The victim was able to turn off the machine with an emergency switch before she was rendered unconscious.

She was transported to a local hospital.
