An Edmonson County man has been accused of having sexual contact with juveniles.

Bobby J. Bishop Jr., 47, of Brownsville, was indicted on first-degree unlawful transaction with a minor (illegal sex act, victim under the age of 16), third-degree rape and third-degree sodomy, according to a report by WNKY.com.

K105 reported in August 2024 that Bishop was arrested by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office and charged with, in addition to the above counts, promoting a sexual performance by a minor (victim under the age of 18) and procuring or promoting the use of a minor by electronic means. He, though, was not indicted on those two charges.

Bishop is accused of sexually abusing juveniles in Edmonson and Warren counties.

He is being held in the Hart County Jail on a $25,000 cash bond.
