Two boys, ages 11 and 14, have died in separate ATV accidents on Friday.
One of the accidents occurred in Lawrence County on Brushy Creek Road near the community of Blaine, and resulted in the death of 14-year-old Eric L. Harper, of Blaine, after he lost control of his ATV.
Harper was not wearing a helmet.
Benton B. Lester, 11, of Mackville (Washington Co.), crashed an ATV while riding near his home when the vehicle dropped off the side of the road and struck a culvert.
He was airlifted to University of Kentucky Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.
