A death investigation is underway in Falls of Rough.
Kentucky State Police and the Grayson Co. Coroner’s Office are conducting a death investigation at a home in the 9900 block of Falls of Rough Road, between Blain Cannon Road and Junction Road.
The investigation began Friday afternoon at approximately 4:00 when the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a residence after a 52-year-old woman was found deceased by a family member, according to the Grayson Co. Coroner’s Office.
The family member went to the residence after not being able to contact the decedent.
The body was transported to the state Medical Examiner’s Office in Louisville by the coroner’s office late Friday evening. An autopsy was completed Saturday morning.
