Two semi-trucks left I-65 in Elizabethtown as one of the vehicles crashed into a house.
The accident occurred last week when one of the tractor-trailers was merging onto I-65 north at the 91-mile-marker, according to a report by The News-Enterprise. The two trucks made contact, with both semis crashing through a guardrail and traveling down an embankment.
One of the trucks then struck a residence at 903 Hawkins Drive. The truck hit the home directly where a bedroom is located. Two of the home’s occupants, Collier and Suzy Beeler, were asleep in the bedroom.
The other truck stopped in the yard.
No serious injuries were reported.
