An Ohio County man airlifted to a Louisville burn center following a residential fire has died from his injuries.
Darrell W. Adkins, 45, passed away on Friday after suffering burns in the Sunday, February 9, fire at a Fordsville residence.
The fire began when Adkins, according to WFIE.com, “was using a turkey frier base for heat while he spray painted. That’s when a nearby aerosol spray can blew up, causing the fire.”
A juvenile was also airlifted to a Louisville burn center. That person’s current condition has not been released.
