Calling it an “historical day,” the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office promoted a woman to the rank of sergeant.
The sheriff’s office said Falon Outlaw is the first woman to ever hold the rank of sergeant.
Outlaw began her law enforcement career with the Madisonville Police Department in 2012, according to her LinkedIn profile.
