A Breckinridge County man has died and a female airlifted after a motorcycle crash.
The accident occurred Sunday afternoon at approximately 2:00 in the 4100 block of Hwy 259 in Breckinridge County, according to a report by WXBC.com, when a northbound 2002 Honda motorcycle, being driven by 51-year-old John Brown, of Garfield, left the roadway and entered a ditch.
Brown and a passenger, Leslie Sadler, were ejected from the motorcycle.
Brown was transported by EMS to Breckinridge Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Sadler was airlifted to University of Louisville Hospital where she was listed in critical condition as of Monday morning.
The Breckinridge Co. Sheriff’s Office, Kentucky State Police and Harned, McDaniels and Hardinsburg Fire Departments responded to the scene.
