A death investigation is underway following a shooting in Butler County.
Kentucky State Police said troopers responded Tuesday morning at approximately 7:00 to the report of a shooting on West Morrison Street in Morgantown.
When troopers arrived, they “discovered a male individual with life-threatening injuries,” KSP said.
The person was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Butler County Coroner’s Office.
The investigation is being led by KSP Det. Gary Travis.
No other information was released.
