In a tragic turn of events, a Grayson County man reported missing has been found deceased in a car crash.
On Sunday morning at approximately 10:30, the Clarkson Fire Department, Grayson County Sheriff’s Office and Kentucky State Police were dispatched to the 6200 block of Grayson Springs Road (Hwy 1214) after a motorist reported to Central Dispatch that a heavily damaged vehicle was off the roadway.
The vehicle contained the body of 36-year-old Jeremy Rigsby, of Wax. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by Grayson County Coroner Kevin Pharis.
Rigsby had last been seen on Thursday night at approximately 11:35, according to Pharis, and his wife had reported him missing.
It’s likely, Pharis said, that Rigsby died not long after leaving his residence on Thursday.
