Grace Mildred Mallisee, age 95, of Bowling Green, formerly of Leitchfield, KY, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, (January 15, 2025) in Bowling Green. She was born on November 21, 1929 in Leitchfield, KY, the daughter of the late Gus and Sarah Elizabeth Glenn McClure.

Mildred worked as an assistant secretary at the Grayson County Health Department for over 27 years. She was a graduate of Leitchfield High School, Class of 1948. She loved gardening and was a Master Gardener. She enjoyed quilting and baking. She was a member of the Leitchfield Rotary Club; being named Rotarian of the Year and was the first and only female president ofthe Rotary. She was also awarded the Paul Harris Fellow Award; which is the highest honor given to a member for making significant contributions to the community.

Mildred had a heart for serving. She made 18 mission trips, 12 foreign and 6 domestic. As a member of Leitchfield First Baptist Church for 77 years, she loved to work in hospitality. She was very involved in the music department at the church alongside her husband, Sonny Hubbard, who was the music
director for many years. She loved the Lord and was most proud of her life serving Him.

She is survived by her son, Michael Hubbard (Nora), her daughter, Laura Faith (Mark), all of Bowling Green; grandchildren, Kristie Amsler (Darian), Sarah Wood, Stephanie Faith, and Drew Hubbard (Laura); fourteen great-grandchildren; and her step-daughter, Carolyn “Sue” Mallisee.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Malcolm “Sonny” Hubbard and Charles Mallisee; and one grandson, Michael Faith.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, (January 19, 2025) at the Leitchfield First Baptist Church. Pastor Doug King will be officiating. Burial will be in the Leitchfield Memory Gardens
Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.

Visitation will be at the Leitchfield First Baptist Church on Sunday beginning at 12:00 p.m. (noon) until time of services.
