The Todd County sheriff has been indicted on two charges following a confrontation with a Logan County man.

Todd County Sheriff Tracy White was indicted by a Logan County Grand Jury on harassment (in this case, considered in Kentucky to be a “violation”) and misdemeanor menacing charges earlier this month for an incident that was captured on video that occurred on May 3, 2024, when White went to the residence of Adam Weatherford in Lewisburg, according to media reports.

The two men argued over an incident involving children, including the sheriff’s child. White was not in uniform during the confrontation.

Kentucky State Police investigated the case, with County Attorney for Ohio County Justin Keown appointed a special prosecutor.

White first elected sheriff in 2014.
