Two people died when a vehicle crossed the center line.
Kentucky State Police said troopers responded to the crash Saturday morning at approximately 11:00 on Hwy 15 in Wolfe County.
The investigation showed that a Ford Fusion, being driven by 39-year-old Carl Osborn, of Thornton (Letcher Co.), was traveling north when the vehicle crossed the center line and struck a Chevrolet Express van, being driven by 37-year-old David L. Castro, of Lexington.
Both men were pronounced deceased at the scene. A passenger in the van was airlifted to University of Cincinnati Medical Center suffering from chemical burns, state police said.
The crash remains under investigation by Trooper Dakota Rasche.
