Demetrius Corey Carter, age 29, of Gary West Virginia, passed away Tuesday, (December 31, 2024) at Welch Community Hospital in West Virginia. He was born on May 11, 1995, in Leitchfield, KY, the son of the late Sherry Carter.
He enjoyed reading, playing video games, and spending time with his friends.
He is survived by his sister, Rheanna Carter, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sherry Carter, and his grandparents, Foster and Callie Carter.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, (January 7, 2025) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Vol Layman Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
