A man has been killed during an apparent carjacking attempt at a Christian County travel center.
The incident happened Saturday morning at the Pilot Travel Center at 8190 Pembroke Oak Grove Road, approximately 10 miles south of Hopkinsville off I-24 in Oak Grove.
The victim was shot at least once, according to WKDZ.com, in what authorities believe was an attempted carjacking of the victim’s van.
The male was pronounced deceased at the scene.
No arrests have been made.
