A Leitchfield man wanted by Kentucky State Police for assault, burglary and unlawful imprisonment has been arrested.
Leitchfield Police Department Officers Brian Jennings, Erik Franklin and Eric Miller arrested 57-year-old David R. Kerr on Monday at a Leitchfield residence. He was charged with second-degree assault, first-degree unlawful imprisonment, second-degree burglary, and intimidating a participant in the legal process.
Kerr was lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.
As K105 previously reported, Kerr was served with two warrants accusing of second-degree burglary and intimidating a participant in the legal process. He was arrested in early October and charged with violating an EPO.
He was also arrested in August for illegally entering a law enforcement officer’s property.
Kerr, since 2015, has been arrested in Grayson, Hardin, Edmonson, Breckinridge, Hart, Simpson, Marion, and Jefferson counties for trafficking in codeine and methamphetamine, theft by unlawful taking, possession of methamphetamine, persistent felony offender (multiple times), DUI, driving on a suspended license, and several failure to appear counts, according to online records.
