The Grayson County Chamber of Commerce is alerting residents of a scam involving the organization.
“We received an e-mail this afternoon from a Chamber Member that they received a phone call asking to purchase ad space for the Leitchfield Jr. Chamber. This is a scam,” Chamber Executive President April Spaulding said in an email.
Spaulding continued by saying that there is no Jr. Chamber of Commerce in Grayson County.
“Please do not purchase or give any information to this person if you receive a phone call,” Spaulding stated.
The number, according to Spaulding, is a cloned number of the Dollar General Store in Morgantown.
