A man has been arrested after shooting at a trooper and deputy who were responding to a domestic disturbance.
On Wednesday night at approximately 9:30, Kentucky State Police and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to St. Rose Lebanon Road, about four miles west of Springfield, on the report of a domestic dispute.
Upon arriving at the scene, shots were fired from the residence toward the trooper and deputy, according to Kentucky State Police.
Police then gave commands to the shooter, 37-year-old Bradley Couch, to exit the residence, which the suspect did.
He was arrested and charged with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of attempted murder of a first responder, three counts of felony wanton endangerment, and fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).
Couch was lodged in the Marion County Detention Center but is no longer listed as an inmate.
