She was saved at Sadler Church in July 1950 and was a member of Peace Chapel General Baptist Church in Shively. She enjoyed Southern Gospel Music and watching the Gaither singing shows, tending her flower beds outside, houseplants inside and working in her yard. She liked Hallmark Christmas movies, word puzzle books and watching select Sunday TV preachers after she was unable to attend her church. She was always ready with a story about the “Good Old Days” of her youth growing up in Sadler and was always a proud Sadler girl.

She fought a good fight and kept the faith; now she is gone to receive her just rewards.
