A tip led police to a marijuana grow operation in Meade County.
The Meade County Sheriff’s office said deputies arrived at a home “in the Meade County area” on Tuesday afternoon after receiving a tip regarding a “cultivating/growing operation.”
When police arrived at the residence, they discovered the suspect had 37 marijuana plants “in all stages of growth” inside the home.
The sheriff’s office only said the investigation “resulted in one arrest.”
A check of the Meade County Detention Center shows 50-year-old Michael J. Nolen, of Ekron, was arrested and charged Tuesday with cultivating marijuana (five plants or more, at least second offense), possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
