A 14-year-old has been charged in a shooting that killed a teenager.
As K105 reported on Tuesday, the shooting occurred Sunday morning at approximately 1:00 at a residence on Leathers Lane in southwest Frankfort, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office told WKYT.com that a 14-year-old has been taken into custody and charged in connection to the shooting death. The exact charges the suspect faces have not been released.
The investigation is ongoing.
The name of the victim has not been released.
