Karen Byrnes LeSieur, 73, of Bowling Green passed away surrounded by her children Nov. 29, 2024 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
The Edmonson County native was a retired disability support specialist for Best Center for Independent Living and a 1970 graduate of Edmonson County High School. She was a daughter of the late John Ronald “Jack” Byrnes and Zona Belle Ritter Byrnes. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Doris Byrns, Betty Basham and Mary “Bobby” Vincent; and a brother Charles Byrnes.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday at Gravil Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM.
Surviving are two daughters, Natalee Frie (Colin) of Eau Claire, WI and Briton Elmore (Kyle) of Smiths Grove; a son Jack LeSieur (Frank McClure) of Bowling Green; a sister, Maggie “Sue” Constant of Louisville; five grandchildren, Caroline Frie, Carson Frie, Will Elmore, Maggie Elmore and Molly Elmore; a special granddog, Edie; and several nieces and nephews.
