A man has died after being partially ejected in a tractor-trailer crash in Simpson County.
Kentucky State Police said troopers responded to the accident on Friday to the 1400 block of Cedar Bluff Road, about eight miles north of Franklin.
The investigation showed that a 1998 Freightliner semi, being driven by 32-year-old Clarence Hoover, of Scottsville, dropped off the roadway and rolled onto its driver’s side.
Hoover was partially ejected from the vehicle, state police said, and was pronounced deceased by the Simpson County Coroner’s Office.
The investigation is being led by Kentucky State Police.
