The Caneyville Community Club has donated $2,500 to the Caneyville Family Resource Center (FRC) Angle Tree holiday assistance program.

The funds were raised at the Caneyville Homecoming Festival held last month, with support from local businesses, the city of Caneyville, Caneyville Fire Department, and individuals from the Caneyville community.

The donation will provide Christmas gifts for children from disadvantaged families.

The Caneyville FRC mission statement reads as follows:

To enhance students’ ability to succeed in school by developing and sustaining partnerships that promote: Early learning and successful transition into school; Academic Achievement and well-being; and Graduation and transition into adult life.
