An elderly Grant County woman has died after being hit by a car that also hit an elderly man.
Kentucky State Police responded on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. to the intersection of Hwy 42 and Hwy 35 in Warsaw (Gallatin Co.) on the report of two people being struck by a car.
State police said the investigation showed that a 2018 Ford Escape, being driven by Ricky Webb, was traveling west on Hwy 42 when, at the intersection of Hwy 35, he struck a 76-year-old female and 83-year-old male, both of Dry Ridge, who “entered the roadway near the crosswalk.”
The 76-year-old female was pronounced deceased at the scene. The 83-year-old male was transported to a medical facility, state police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
