A young Hart County woman been killed and three juveniles injured in a two-vehicle crash.
Kentucky State Police said troopers responded to the accident in the 3700 block of Priceville Road (Hwy 728), about four miles west of Bonnieville, Saturday evening at approximately 6:50.
The crash investigation showed that a 2014 Ford Fusion, being driven by 24-year-old Mikhaela “Mikka” Kostas, of Cub Run, was traveling east on Priceville Road when she attempted to pass multiple vehicles, state police said. While passing the vehicles, the Fusion collided with a westbound 2002 Chevrolet Silverado, being driven by a juvenile.
Kostas was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Hart County Coroner’s Office.
The juvenile driver of the Silverado and two juvenile passengers were transported to Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown with non-life-threatening injuries.
The ongoing investigation is being led by Trooper Landon Key.
