Justin Girtley, also of Franklin County, was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Franklin County Coroner’s Office.
Police did not reveal the relationship between the two men, but they both served as pall bearers at Steve Girtley’s mother’s funeral in 2017, according to the obituary.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office said Steven Girtley stands six feet tall and weighs about 185 pounds. He has blue eyes and a gray beard. He was last seen wearing camouflage clothing.
Steven Girtley was arrested by state police on a fourth-degree domestic violence charge in September 2018 in Franklin County, according to online records.
