Motorcyclist killed after hitting guardrail

A man has been killed in a motorcycle crash in Hopkins County.

First responders were dispatched Monday morning just after midnight to the crash near the intersection of Hopkinsville Road (Hwy 41) and Rutter Avenue in Earlington.

Upon arriving at the scene, the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office and other first responders found the body of 32-year-old Zachary “Zack” Dale Lanham, of Greenville, over an embankment and in a wooded area, according to TriStateHomepage.com. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The investigation showed that Lanham was driving a 2017 Kawasaki Ninja EX 300 south on Hopkinsville Road when he struck a guardrail while rounding a curve.
