One person has died in a two-vehicle accident in Butler County.
The Butler Co. Sheriff’s Office, Butler Co. Rescue Squad and Butler Co. EMS responded to the accident at approximately 5:30 Wednesday morning on Hwy 79 south, according to the Beech Tree News.
The crash, a head-on collision, resulted in the death of 33-year-old Arvin Tyree, of Lewisburg.
No injury information was available for the driver of the other vehicle, 24-year-old Brendan Shanklin, of Morgantown.
The accident remains under investigation.
