Connie L. Cain, age 73, of Clarkson, KY, passed away Friday, (October 18, 2024) at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, KY.
She was born on March 14, 1951 in Owensboro, KY, the daughter of the late Chester and Abby Douglas Jones.
She was a Milling Company Sales Consultant, who enjoyed fishing, sewing, gardening, watching humming birds and jigsaw puzzles and was a member of the Eveleigh Church.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Charles Cain, two sons, Tom (Mahalie) and Eugene Cain (Jan) both of Clarkson, four grandchildren, Parker Cain (Taylor), Cortney Johnson (Randy), Taylor Wilson and Brianna Mathews (Thomas Yopp), five great-grandchildren, Gabriel Dennis, Brystle, Kam and Whalin Johnson and Amelia Mathews, three brothers, Darrell Jones (Alice), Odean and Danny Jones, two sisters, Doris Woosley (Ronald) and Gail Berry (Ricky), a sister-in-law, Doris Marsh and a foster, brother, Keith Fleming (Rena) and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, William Earl Cain, two brothers, Ronnie Jones and Mike Marsh, one sister, Nancy Jones and her foster parents, J. C. and Imogene Fleming.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, (October 25, 2024) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bros. Tommy Pendergast and Arland Bennefield will be officiating. Burial will be in the Clarkson Baptist Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
