A man driving on a DUI suspended license has been charged with murder after rear-ending a motorcycle, killing the driver and seriously injuring a passenger.

Kentucky State Police said troopers responded to the crash on Hwy 27 in Pulaski County, about 10 miles north of Somerset, Saturday night at approximately 8:00.

State police said the investigation revealed that a 2015 Nissan Altima, being driven by 63-year-old Larry G. Stull, of Eubank, was traveling north on Hwy 27 when he struck a 2005 Kawasaki motorcycle in the rear.

Chester L. Dick, 63, of Somerset, who was driving the motorcycle, was ejected from the bike and pronounced deceased at the scene by the Pulaski County Coroner’s Office. A passenger on the motorcycle, Lori Lisle, was also ejected from the bike and suffered serious injuries, police said.

She was transported to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Stull was arrested and charged with murder and driving on a DUI suspended license (aggravating circumstances). He was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center.

The ongoing investigation is being led by Trooper Matthew Brumley.
