The woman found dismembered in Robertson County on Wednesday has been identified as the mother of the person accused of the crime.

Trudy Fields was found dismembered outside her residence on Brierly Ridge Road near Mt. Olivet on Wednesday afternoon at 12:30 by Kentucky State Police.

The victim’s head, arms and legs had been removed from the body. Additionally, police found body parts and organs inside a mattress adjacent to the woman’s body.

Inside the residence, troopers located what appeared to be body parts in a (warm) pot in the oven.

Troopers obtained a search warrant and entered the home after 32-year-old Torilena M. Fields, of Mt. Olivet, who was covered in blood, refused to exit the residence.

Torilena Fields has been identified as Trudy Fields’ daughter, according to multiple media reports.

Torilena Fields was arrested and charged with obstructing governmental operations, complicity to tampering with physical evidence and abuse of a corpse. Additional charges are pending, state police said.

She was lodged in the Bourbon County Detention Center on a $25,000 cash bond.
