Kentucky State Police will conduct training exercises in Muhlenberg County beginning this weekend.
KSP will conduct nighttime helicopter training with the Kentucky National Guard on Saturday through Friday of next week. The training will take place at the Wendell H. Ford Regional Training Center.
“Residents in and near Muhlenberg County may hear loud rumbling noises or experience inaudible vibrations from the training site due to the nighttime helicopter training,” state police said.
It is possible county residents could hear the aforementioned “loud rumbling noises” or “inaudible vibrations,” as Grayson County is approximately 55 miles from the training center.
For more information regarding this training, contact Maj. Chris Peterson at 502-607-7423 or via his email: christopher.a.peterson14.mil@army.mil.
