A Clinton County man has apparently killed his elderly mother and her friend before committing suicide, according to Kentucky State Police.
The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office on Monday morning at 10:45 conducted a welfare check on Lakepoint Drive near Albany. Upon arriving at the residence, police found two women, 76-year-old Linda Flowers, and 78-year-old Linda Crouch, both of Albany, deceased from gunshot wounds inside the home, state police said.
Brent Flowers, 45, of Albany, Linda Flowers’ son, was found deceased from an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound outside the residence.
Authorities believe the shootings occurred sometime on Sunday.
In addition to the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office, Kentucky State Police and the Clinton County Coroner’s Office are conducting the death investigations.
