A Kentucky woman is facing eight child pornography counts involving victims under the age of 12 and four counts involving victims under 16.
The Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch arrested 33-year-old Stephanie R. Vickers, of Hopkinsville, and charged her with four counts of distribution of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance (victim under the age of 12), four counts of possession of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance (victim under the age of 12), and four counts of promoting a minor in a sexual performance (victim under the age of 16).
Vickers was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering Vickers sharing images of child sexual exploitation online.
A search warrant was executed at Vickers’ Hopkinsville home where equipment used to facilitate the crimes was seized.
She was lodged in the Christian County Detention Center on a $50,000 cash bond.
