A woman has been killed after a vehicle collided with a train.
Kentucky State Police responded to the accident Thursday afternoon at approximately 4:40 on Hwy 70, about six miles west of Central City.
The investigation showed that 37-year-old Roxana Allison, of Providence, was driving a Cadillac Escalade west on Hwy 70 when the vehicle collided with an eastbound P&L train, according to state police.
Allison was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Muhlenberg County Coroner’s Office.
The investigation is ongoing by KSP accident reconstructionist, Trooper Patrick Penrod.
