A 20-year-old Grayson County man has been arrested with a smorgasbord of THC vape cartridges, THC edibles and THC gummies.
The arrest came after a traffic stop by Grayson County Deputy Thomas Lane on Wednesday night just before midnight in the 2000 block of Elizabethtown Road on a 2008 Chevrolet Impala for a non-moving violation, according to the arrest citation.
Upon stopping the vehicle, Lane and Grayson County Deputy Sean Fentress made contact with John T. Compton, of Eveleigh, and detected an odor of marijuana coming from the Chevy.
During a search of the vehicle, deputies, according to the citation, found 50 THC vape cartridges, 48 chocolate THC edibles, two bags of THC gummies, and over 25 grams of marijuana flower along with a handgun.
Police also discovered Compton had a failure to appear warrant out of Breckinridge County.
He was arrested and charged with trafficking in marijuana (enhanced due to the presence of a firearm) and rear license plate not illuminated. Compton was lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.
