New details in fatal Edmonson Co. shooting

A fatal shooting is under investigation in Edmonson County.

The shooting occurred Monday in the late afternoon or early evening on Timberwood Drive, about eight miles south of Brownsville, and resulted in one death.

K105 has learned that the decedent is an Edmonson County man in his mid-40s, according to a source. A juvenile was “involved in (the) shooting,” as well.

No other details have been released.

This marks the second fatal shooting in just over two weeks after 18-year-old Damien Worrel allegedly shot and killed 83-year-old Ernest Cline at a home on The Bridge Road on August 25.
