A fatal shooting is under investigation in Edmonson County.
The shooting occurred Monday on Timberwood Drive, about eight miles south of Brownsville, and resulted in one death, Kentucky State Police Post 3 Public Affairs Officer Katan Parker told WNKY.com.
Kentucky State Police is leading the investigation. No other details have been released.
This marks the second fatal shooting Edmonson County in just over two weeks. On August 25, 18-year-old Damien Worrel allegedly shot and killed 83-year-old Ernest Cline at 656 The Bridge Road, about 12 miles southwest of Brownsville.
Worrel was charged with murder and first-degree robbery and lodged in the Hart County Jail.
