A high school student was struck and killed by a school bus Tuesday morning in Clark County.
The accident occurred at approximately 6:45 Tuesday morning at the intersection of Veteran’s Memorial Parkway and Ironworks Road, according to Clark County Schools, and resulted in the death of 15-year-old McKenna Letcher.
McKenna was a student at George Rogers Clark High School.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office told WKYT.com that McKenna was crossing the roadway when she was hit by the bus.
The Clark County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation.
