An ongoing rehabilitation and repaving project will result in I-165 ramp closures in Butler County beginning next week.
The schedule for the ramp closures is listed below. All work is subject to change and is weather-dependent, the transportation cabinet said.
Thursday, Sept. 5
- Exit 26 northbound on-ramp – The ramp will close at 6:00 a.m. and reopen later that night. The detour will use U.S. 231, KY 1468 and KY 70.
Friday, Sept. 6
- Exit 26 southbound off-ramp – The ramp will close at 6:00 a.m. and reopen later that night. The detour will use exit 27, KY 70, KY 1468, and U.S. 231.
Monday, Sept. 9
- Exit 27 northbound on-ramp – The ramp will close at 6:00 a.m. and reopen later that night. The detour will use I-165 southbound to exit 26 and re-enter I-165 northbound at exit 26.
Tuesday, Sept. 10
- Exit 27 southbound on-ramp – The ramp will close at 6:00 a.m. and reopen later that night. The detour will use KY 70, KY 1468 and U.S. 231.
Thursday, Sept. 11
- Exit 27 northbound off-ramp – The ramp will close at 6:00 a.m. and reopen later that night. The detour will use exit 26, U.S. 231, KY 1468, and KY 70.
Friday, Sept. 12
- Exit 27 southbound off-ramp – The ramp will close at 6:00 a.m. and reopen late that night. The detour will use I-165 southbound to Exit 26 and re-enter I-165 northbound at exit 26.
The entire project is expected to be completed by November 1.
