Husband shot dead during domestic violence incident in Clinton Co.

A man has been shot to death during a domestic violence incident in Clinton County.

Kentucky State Police said troopers were dispatched to a shooting Saturday morning at approximately 11:30 on Wolf River Dock Road, about three miles southwest of Albany.

Upon arriving at the scene, police found 51-year-old Wesley Russell, of Albany, deceased from multiple gunshot wounds.

The investigation showed that Russell and his wife, 48-year-old Mary Russell, “had been involved in a domestic violence incident,” state police said.

Mary Russell was transported to The Medical Center at Albany.

The ongoing investigation is being led by KSP Det. Zach Scott.

No other information on the incident was released.
