The FBI is offering a $50,000 reward for information that leads to the return of a missing teenager police looked for in a Hopkins County landfill in March.

Sebastian Rogers, 15, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, has been missing since February 26. Rogers, who has been diagnosed with autism, was last seen in the Stafford Court area of Hendersonville, about 18 miles north of Nashville. He was wearing a black sweatshirt, black sweatpants and black square-framed glasses.

Besides autism, Sebastain has other medical conditions that “may impair his ability to return safely without assistance,” according to the FBI.

As K105 previously reported, on March 7 multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Sumner County (TN) Sheriff’s Office, Nashville Police Department and Kentucky State Police, searched the Hopkins County Regional landfill in White Plains for signs of Sebastian.

Officials searched the landfill because some garbage from Hendersonville (specifically, Sebastian’s neighborhood) is transported to Hopkins County.

Anyone with information on Sebastian’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office at 615-451-3838, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation at 1-800-TBI-FIND, TipsToTBI@tbi.tn.gov, or your local FBI office. You can submit a tip online at tips.fbi.gov.

The reward is being offered for “information leading to the location and return of Sebastian Wayne Drake Rogers or to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for his disappearance,” the FBI said.
