A Kentucky sheriff has been arrested on a DUI charge for the second time in nine months.

Robertson County Sheriff Terry Gray was arrested Sunday night after a witness said a tractor had driven off a roadway, according to WKYT.com. Upon police responding to the area, they discovered Gray driving a tractor on the road.

Police conducted a traffic stop and arrested Gray, charging him with DUI.

He was lodged in the Bourbon County Detention Center.

Gray’s previous DUI occurred on the afternoon of December 13, 2023, when he was arrested by Kentucky State Police after he drove impaired in his marked squad car near a school.

Gray first became sheriff in October 2021 after Mark Sutton resigned the post. He previously served for many years as a park ranger at Blue Licks Battlefield State Resort Park.
