An eastern Kentucky man was sentenced to dozens of years in prison for producing and distributing child pornography.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Kentucky said 26-year-old Christopher Hall, of Floyd County, produced a video of himself sexually abusing a minor on May 29, 2022. Hall later distributed the video to others using WhatsApp.
He was sentenced earlier this week in U.S. District Court to 50 years in federal prison. Under federal law, Hall must serve at least 85 percent of his sentence.
The investigation was conducted by the FBI and Kentucky State Police.
