An Edmonson County man has been arrested on child rape charges.
On Tuesday, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office arrested and charged 47-year-old Bobby Joe Bishop, of Rocky Hill, with third-degree rape, third-sodomy, first-degree unlawful transaction with a minor (illegal sex act, victim under 16), promoting a sexual performance by a minor (victim under 18), and procuring or promoting use of a minor by electronic means.
Bishop is accused of abusing children in both Edmonson and Warren counties, according to a report by WNKY.com.
Bishop was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail on a $50,000 cash bond.
