Police searching for missing Edmonson Co. woman with Down syndrome

The Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help finding a missing woman with Down syndrome.

The sheriff’s office said the 46-year-old woman (no name has been released) was last seen leaving her home at approximately 7:30 p.m. Tuesday on Noah Stevens Road, about five miles east of Bee Spring in a Nolin River Lake community.

Anyone with information on the missing woman’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office at 270-597-2157 or Edmonson County Dispatch at 270-597-2729.

Woman still missing from Breckinridge Co.

A Breckinridge County woman with “early dementia” and who is “developmentally disabled” has now been missing for 25 days.

As K105 previously reported, Evelyn Blake, 64, was last seen Sunday night, July 21, at approximately 6:00, according to a family member — it was previously reported, based on law enforcement statements, that Blake had last been seen at 10:30 p.m. She was last known to be in the 4000 block of Old Railroad Road, about two miles south of McQuady and a few miles north of Falls of Rough in the Glen Dean area of the county.

“Evelyn suffers from early dementia and is developmentally disabled,” according to a family member who reached out to K105.

Blake stands five feet, one inch tall and weighs about 230 pounds. She was last known to be wearing a white shirt and tan shorts.
